How does the library plan programming for each month?
Answer
Library programming is thoughtfully planned with our community in mind. Each month, programs are selected based on a combination of community needs, patron interests, seasonal relevance, and staff expertise. New program ideas are proposed to the Library Director for review and consideration. All programs must be approved before they are offered to the public to ensure they align with our mission, resources, and service goals.
We strive to balance educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities for all age groups including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Input from library users, attendance trends, community demographics, and local partnerships also play a key role in shaping our calendar.
Suggestions from the community are always welcome and help us better understand what patrons are looking for. If you have an idea for a program you’d like to see at the library, feel free to speak with a staff member or submit a suggestion through our contact form. We value your input and are always looking for ways to better serve and engage our community.
